I've always thought my kiddos slept a sufficient amount, although with the publication of this article, based on a recently completed study ... not so sure anymore! They don't sleep the recommended 9-10 hours but not for my lack of trying to impose a bedtime on my 14 and 17 year olds. Mine, both high-schoolers, one a junior, the other a freshman, get about 7-8.
Have those of you with high-school-age children (or those past that age) seen ill-effects of loss of sleep, for example, grades, change in health, and the like?
